Trucks Abandoned By Drivers Being Evacuated On Ukrainian Border

Heavy trucks were left during the outbreak of the war.

It became known where the heavy trucks left on the border of Belarus with Ukraine after the start of the war will be sent. Details were reported in the press service of the State Border Committee.

So, the State Customs Committee explained that on the side of the highway near the Ukrainian border, which connects the checkpoints Makrany (from the Belarusian side) and Domanove (from the Ukrainian side), heavy trucks have been standing for almost nine months. The trucks were abandoned on the roadway on February 25, 2022, after the Russian war in Ukraine began. That's what they'll do with abandoned trucks.

“Trucks left on the roadway impede the movement of official vehicles. Therefore, they are evacuated to the parking lot,” the press service commented.

It is reported that heavy trucks will be temporarily placed at the parking lot of the Makrany checkpoint.
