'Bicycle Database' To Be Created In Belarus

It will be operational from December 1.

It became known that all sold bicycles will be registered in the database from December 1, 2022. The Press Service of the Ministry of Tax and Duties reported the details.

They clarified that this applies to both bicycles that are produced in Belarus and imported ones. For this reason, anyone who sells bicycles wholesale or retail must provide tax information on the balance of goods as of December 1st.

At the same time, it is indicated that this must be done no later than the start of transactions related to the trade, but no later than April 1, 2023.

From December 1, 2022, transactions related to the sale of bicycles are subject to electronic invoices, the Ministry of Taxes and Taxes specified.

The Press Service noted that a number of commodity items will be tracked: ordinary two-wheeled, and three-wheeled cargo bicycles, as well as electric bicycles (rated power not more than 250W).
