Lukashists Have Their Last Teeth Knocked Out

This phenomenon is usually called the Streisand effect around the world.

The worst curse accompanies the regime's minions throughout their "career": everything they try to ban, remove or limit immediately becomes a flash mob. For example, after the ban on strikes in our country, the number of local strikes increased. A week ago, in Hantsevichy, the workers of Polotskia Yahoda LLC wheedled promised salaries out the employer by holding an ordinary strike. Prior to this case, entrepreneurs achieved the revision of the resolution on “price regulation”, and in May, the Minsk Dairy Plant No. 1 achieved an increase in wages in the same way. The Lukashists have completely failed, and the Belarusians have realized that the strikes really work.

This is an overall dynamic. In early November, the TOR BAND group and their social media were recognized as extremists. The result was an increase in attention to the group and a tenfold increase in streams on music platforms and mentions. Moreover, people who were unfamiliar with their work finally heard and fell in love with the tracks that irritate Lukashists so much.

This week, the phrase “Long live Belarus!” was included in the elite list of bans. After that, statistics for the protest slogan with Google searches by Belarusians approached the peak of the 2020 protests. Twitter, Instagram and Facebook: Belarusians reacted to the ban by mentioning the hashtag #livebelarus (#жывебеларусь) on all social media. It looks like this flash mob will remain for a long time.

This phenomenon is usually called the Streisand effect around the world: attempts to withdraw or prohibit certain information only lead to its wider dissemination.

Surprisingly, it is the Lukashists who, more than anyone else, are engaged in a PR campaign for the Belarusian protest. After all, these are not isolated cases. All their bans become flash mobs that have been actively spreading online for two years after the protests. Their cowardice, even in front of such harmless things as music, phrases and symbols, simply leaves them no room for maneuver. Each such flash mob, in response to their insane decrees, knocks out the remaining teeth of the Lukashists. I would not be surprised if, realizing this, the dictator himself is included in the list of extremists, in the hope that this will make the people like him. But, to their great regret, no social effect is able to cultivate love for the killer.

The social phenomenon of Belarusians will lead us to victory. The people, faced with evil, target the dictator with songs, leaflets, local strikes and phrases on social media. His lackeys, driven into a dead end by Lukashenka's endless orders to suppress the protest mood in Belarus, are now only building it up. This is a no-win situation. Now any step they take leads to the collapse of the dictatorship. In a country where the economy and legislation have reached a new low, intimidation no longer works. We are seeing a sinusoid that has reached its lowest point and is moving upward towards justice and democracy.

Long live Belarus!
