Video of Uskhopov Entering The Police Station

He will be dead in two hours.

The first high-profile event of the year was the death of 28-year-old Dmitry Uskhopov in Rechytsa on New Year's Eve. His relatives blame the police for the murder as it was Uskhopov who ended up in the hospital and then in the morgue. But propaganda rushed to justify the police with an edited video. One can draw certain conclusions. Nasha Niva also asked long-serving police officers to analyze the video and the situation.

The police video gives us one very important answer: how Uskhopov felt when he got inside. The fact is that he enters the building being able to talk consciously to the officers, make requests and even act physically. He entered the building on his own and was full of energy.

The young man was detained at 23:10 (we don't know when he was taken to the ROVD). He dead at 1:20. It comes from the official report of the Investigative Committee.

The published video also shows no injuries on Uskhopov's face above his left eye, as the video captures his whole face at one moment.

One of the photos taken from the morgue shows a wound. We do not know how he got it. It appeared after he entered the police station building.

Relatives of the deceased Uskhopov say that on the night of 31 December to 1 January he was detained by a police patrol. The man resisted arrest.

According to human rights activists, the police brought him to the emergency room of the hospital after a while in a state of clinical death. When his relatives saw him, his clothes were torn off. He was drenched down to his underwear. There was a circular wound on his left temple. The wrists on his hands were blue.

Dmitry's relatives believe the guy was beaten by the police and poured water on.

Nasha Niva talked to Uskhopov's mother, Elena Mikhailovna. Here's what she said.

- Is it true that your son died?

- They killed him - the police killed him. I am a widow of an Afghan warrior, everybody writes!... And I gave birth to a son from a policeman... They tortured my son like Jesus Christ, only he was 28... Let them carry me along with my son and put me in the grave next to him.

- How did he end up in the police? Why was he there?

- He was on his way to my place to celebrate New Year. He stood at the bus stop with a friend: "I'll be right there", he said. They were drinking champagne and eating tangerines. The police considered it as drinking

in a public place. They twisted arms behind his back. He said, 'I'm going to my mum. Let me go... And then they... there was a wound on his temple, his back was blue, his hands were blue. His T-shirt's torn to pieces, his body's like coal. I can't talk anymore...

Father, Alexander Leonidovich, told Nasha Niva:

- "The police told us 'dead', and when we came to the morgue they said 'ah, is that the one who was killed?

Dmitry Uskhopov has a 5-year-old daughter.
