Policeman Who Shot Himself In Head At Mahiliou Police Department Died

He had been on life support for almost a week.

Policeman Raman Mirankou died in the Mahiliou City Hospital, Belsat reports.

On September 2, he attempted suicide by shooting himself in the head in the toilet of the Leninski district police station.

Despite the serious injury, he survived and was on life support for almost a week.

Independent telegram channels say that the reason for the suicide attempt was the failure to pass re-attestation - Mirankou was transferred from the criminal investigation department to the district police.

We note that in all this time the Interior Ministry has not commented on the incident.
