Sports Journalist Andrei Maslouski Released

He has been serving a 15-day arrest.

A former correspondent of a sports publication who was serving an administrative arrest for distributing "extremist materials" has been released from the pre-trial detention center, writes Trybuna.

Andrei Maslouski was detained on September 6. On September 8, he was charged with distributing information products included on the republican list of extremist materials.

It was reported that Maslouski was most likely accused of reposting in social networks links to sites that were recognized as extremist.

Maslouski was sentenced to 15 days of administrative arrest.

Maslouski is a former correspondent of a well-known sports website, where he worked from 2010 until July 2021.
