Authorities Are Afraid That Belarusian Army Will Scatter Away

The Interior Ministry and the Investigative Committee have come up with a new absurd idea.

Yesterday, at an off-site enlarged session of the "Council of the Republic," Deputy Interior Minister Yury Nazaranka said that the Interior Ministry and the Investigative Committee proposed to initiate a criminal case in case a conscript is absent in Belarus in order to get help from the authorities in other countries. BelTA informs about it.

Acting Minister of Internal Affairs and Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Yury Nazaranka says that this year the Ministry of Internal Affairs has received about five thousand complaints from military commissioners regarding evasion and three thousand complaints about bringing a draftee under administrative proceedings.

According to Nazaranka, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Investigative Committee worked out a proposal on the possibility to initiate a criminal case in the absence of a conscript in the country, so it would be possible, observing the Code of Criminal Procedure, to get the assistance of bodies in other countries.

If a young man turns out to have an objective reason for the draft determent, the criminal case will not proceed, said the deputy minister of interior.
