Ahead is May 9 - Victory Day.

The Basta! telegram channel posted the opinion of one of his followers:

- Ahead is May 9 - Victory Day.

A huge request: do not spoil the tribute to the memory of our ancestors who died for the victory with your participation in the pro-government show.

Already today I see workers on the streets in special clothes with red and green boutonnieres who are forced to wear them.

It's a shame!

People constantly write that they are forced to participate in pro-government events, they are fraudulently put on buses and taken without notifying where. But you know perfectly well where and why you are being taken.

Yes, now you can get a fine of 2000 or more Belarusian rubles for socks of the “wrong” color, and, to this day, a huge number of Belarusians are in captivity in terrible conditions, they are bullied, tortured - and you know this very well.

But it is within our power not to allow them to wipe their feet on ourselves, otherwise, it will become normal, if it has not already become.

Don’t donate a single ruble to dependent public organizations. How long can you write about being forced to buy lottery tickets? Calculate, because, if each gives a ruble, a decent amount of money comes out, which goes to batons and bonuses to the Nazis and certainly not to health care and education and not to help socially vulnerable categories of citizens.

Don’t donate money either to kindergartens or schools. The quality of education from these levies and the attitude towards children will not change for the better.

Now there is an epidemic of covid, if you are an employee of the education system, then how are you not ashamed to say that you are forced to lead your children and participate in the show-off for state channels? You have a work schedule, you have your immediate responsibilities, so focus on them, not on participating in a farce.

Now there is a huge number of layoffs of state employees, the remaining ones bear a double burden, and the wages are less than before, and, believe me, it will be even less.

Our strength is in unity, if working collectives together refuse at least from extortions and participation in "events," then this is already a significant step in protecting their rights and freedoms and a contribution to the common struggle to resist the regime, which will soon leave us all hungry.

Do you really want to turn into idiots who, for a meager salary, will pull the strap of an endlessly increasing volume of work and ridiculous responsibilities?

Will you give out every salary for lottery tickets, trade unions, subscription to propaganda newspapers, repairs in kindergartens, schools?

Will you observe "self-censorship" or monitor what is posted on the social networks of your students or colleagues? They turn you into informers, pitted against each other.

Will you spend your free personal time participating in disgusting pro-government processions, concerts, and other nonsense?

Learn to say "NO" to the rudeness of the superior leadership, they receive a lot of money for their loyalty to the regime, there are practically no decent people left among them, and you know that they got their positions thanks to nepotism and connections, and not for professional qualities.

Everything is in our hands, we cannot give up, it depends on each of us what the future will be and whether it will be.
