On May 6, the National Legal Internet Portal published a list of former servicemen, deprived of military and special ranks by illegitimate Lukashenka. The corresponding decree was signed on May 4. The list contains 87 names.

People's poet of Belarus Uladzimir Niakliayeu said this about these brave officers: "This is the backbone of the future Belarusian army and law enforcement agencies. The people who have sworn to serve the people - and haven't broken the oath".

Retired colonel and lieutenant colonel, five lieutenant colonels in the reserve, two majors in the reserve, eight captains in the reserve, 10 captains of justice in the reserve, a senior lieutenant in the reserve, a lieutenant and a warrant officer in the reserve are deprived of their military ranks.

Two colonels of the police reserve, 10 lieutenants of the police reserve, 8 majors of the police reserve, 9 captains of the police reserve, 11 senior lieutenants of the police reserve, 2 lieutenants, warrant officers and petty officers of the police reserve, 3 senior sergeants of the internal service reserve, a lieutenant of the justice reserve, a major of the justice reserve, 4 captains of the justice reserve, 2 senior lieutenants of the justice reserve are deprived of special ranks.

Among the names are those who have been in the news more than once in recent months. For example, former investigator Yauhen Yushkevich, who stopped receiving calls on 19 April this year, and later it turned out that he was in the KGB detention center.

Former traffic police chief Siarhei Maslouski was deprived of his special rank of a reserve police colonel. On October 11, 2020, he was detained for participating in a Sunday march. He was sentenced to 15 days of arrest, the day after the trial he was taken by ambulance to the hospital with a suspected stroke, bruises and hematomas. He was not released after the arrest, he was detained again, this time for disobedience to a district police officer, and the same judge gave him an additional 15 days in jail.

Stanislau Lupanosau had the rank of lieutenant colonel in the reserve. At the end of March this year, the Main Directorate for Combating Organized Crime reported about the "deep cover agent". The Interior Ministry stated that they had unmasked Lupanosau. He is prosecuted for "attempted acts of terrorism" (Part 1 Article 14 and Part 3 Article 289 of the Criminal Code).

The list contains many names of those ex-servicemen, whom the state called "involved in terrorist activities," such as Andrei Astapovich, Ihar Loban, Ihar Makar and others.

Former retired colonel and lieutenant colonels Uladzimir Baradach, Siarhei Aniska and Valeryj Kastko are among those deprived of their ranks. Former commander of the Special Forces brigade in Marjina Horka Uladzimir Baradach and KGB officer Valeryj Kastko were members of the public commission to investigate the disappearance of former Interior Minister Yury Zakharanka. Siarhei Aniska is a former employee of counterintelligence.

Fiodar Kandziranda was a senior lecturer of the general military faculty of the Military Academy. On August 13, he filed a report for dismissal. He was stripped of his rank of lieutenant colonel in the reserve, as well as Siarhei Bendzia, Dzmitry Pratasevich, Siarhei Shalyhin, and Siarhei Shpak.

Major in the reserve Aliaksandr Isachenka left the army after the August events. Now he is deprived of his rank.
