What Happens to the House near Asipovichy, into Which the Tochka-U Rocket Launcher Drove

The house owner's son is dealing with the consequences of what happened.

The owner of the village house, into which a missile system crashed on the morning of April 5, 85-year-old Hanna Mikalaeuna, moved to her daughter in Asipovichy for now. The woman's son is dealing with the consequences of what happened.

Leanid told tut.by that the military will start repair work on April 8, and they plan to complete everything in 10 days. At the same time, the total amount of damage caused is still unknown.

Let us remind you that, on April 5, at about 10 am, a Tochka-U tactical missile system crashed into a house in the village of Maiseevichy, Asipovichy district. The military vehicle was driven by a conscript soldier of the Asipovichy military unit 61 732.

According to the Ministry of Defense, the accident occurred during the march of a missile division of one of the military units to the Hozhsky training ground. The soldier lost control of the self-propelled launcher on a sharp turn, so it crashed into the corner of the house. The equipment was in good order.

The 85-year-old owner of the house miraculously survived, her children say. Usually, a woman is in this part of the house, into which an army car drove. Namely, at that moment, she left the room.

Now the woman feels well, although, immediately after the incident, she became very nervous - an ambulance was called for her.

- After the accident, insurers came, who serve the military, some general, made an inventory of what was damaged. The total amount of damage has not yet been said and, probably, they have not counted it - today I will deal with Belgosstrakh, where we insured the house,” says Leanid, the son of the owner of the house. - The military was ready to start repairs today, but I asked to start on the 8th: April 7 is still a big holiday, the Annunciation.

According to Leanid, the military planned to make repairs in 10 days. The man says that in the list of damages it was indicated that two walls of the house were destroyed, the fence, stove, window, several sheets of drywall, and slate were damaged.

- The oven will definitely need to be shifted. We rebuilt it several years ago, so 1,500 rubles cost only work without materials, - Leanid says.

The Ministry of Defense in an official statement indicated that the self-propelled launcher "touched the corner of a residential building."
