According to the UN classification, they are the least developed countries in the world.

The New York Times has monitored vaccination against the coronavirus around the world, Salidarnasts writes.

The newspaper writes that most countries focus their efforts on early vaccination of priority groups, such as the clinically vulnerable; people aged 60 to 70 years and older; and rank-and-file workers such as doctors and nurses.

It has been noted that there is also a striking difference between the continents. Africa has the lowest vaccination rate among all continents, and some countries have not yet begun mass vaccination campaigns.

We remind that in Belarus, during the first stage, health workers, teachers and social workers were vaccinated. Now, some clinics in Minsk are vaccinating people aged 61 years and older, as well as patients with chronic diseases.

According to the vaccination rating of The New York Times, Belarus is behind Equatorial Guinea and Bangladesh, which, in turn, are the "least developed countries" according to the UN classification.
