The Ministry of Health said that an increase in the incidence of COVID-19, including severe coronavirus pneumonias, has been noticed in Belarus, the department's website reports.

"We have another increase in the incidence of infection in the country - we call it the beginning of the third wave," - Inna Karaban, head of the department of hygiene, epidemiology and prevention of the Ministry of Health said.

In this regard, the Ministry of Health asks to reduce contacts outside - in stores, transport and other public places. As well as to consult a doctor if you have felt typical symptoms of coronavirus - fever, cough, shortness of breath, headache, can't taste or smell.

In Minsk, medical care for patients with pneumonia is provided by specialists of departments of clinical hospitals № 2, № 4, № 5, № 6 and № 10, as well as the city infectious diseases hospital and children's infectious diseases clinical hospital, which have been reoriented to COVID-19.

We remind you that tens of thousands of Belarusians died from coronavirus because of the criminal policy of the authorities, not having received proper assistance in time and being at risk due to the lack of quarantine measures in the country. According to the latest data of independent experts, 41 thousand people could have died because of the epidemic.
