Undeniable Fact

Spring will come to Belarus on March 25.

The undeniable fact is that Lukashenka has kicked the bucket (so far, electoral). No matter how hard they try to put makeup on this corpse today to make it look "alive" - assemblies of servants and serfs, propaganda lies, illegal amendments to the Constitution, red-green rags and fake collective letters of steelworkers, welders, electricians and milkmaids - everything is useless.

Even the medieval-style court hearings that are now taking place across the country mainly damage the regime, rather than benefit it. More people are involved in the process of confrontation: relatives, relatives, friends of political prisoners. The hatred against this absurd, stupid and inhumane regime is growing. Everyone realises that it's no longer tolerable.

In August 2020, Belarus surprised the world with a phenomenon - a spiritual revival of an entire country. No matter what happens later, the process is unstoppable. The moments we felt free, dignity and strength to resist slavery and evil will always remain in our memory. Nothing and no one can destroy this revived spirit of freedom. Protests take place every day. Their scale does not matter at all. What matters is the moral opposition to the dictatorship that continues against the odds.

We should not stop for our own sake, for the sake of those who are not with us today. The best, wonderful, beautiful people today are waiting for us to act. They are our real heroes and leaders, each out of more than a thousand prisoners of conscience.

Spring always comes in Belarus on a holy day in our history - March 25. I wish we had high water on that day to wash away this stinking and despicable criminal power.

We must win. Life always wins.
