The BSSF appealed to the International Cycling Federation.

The Belarusian Sports Solidarity Foundation wants to move the European track championship from Belarus. It is scheduled for June 23-27 in Minsk, Trybuna reports.

The BSSF has applied to the International Cycling Federation with this proposal.

"The Belarusian Sports Solidarity Foundation expresses its deep concern over the European Championship on track in Belarus. Holding such a tournament could be seen not only as non-compliance with the IOC decision, but also as a threat to the image and reputation of cycling," - the appeal says.

According to the authors of the letter, the tournament poses a threat to athletes, fans, officials and volunteers.

They mention the transfer of the World Hockey Championship. This decision had been preceded by many statements from politicians, athletes and representatives of civil society.

As you know, due to the political situation, the World Hockey Championship and the World Championship in modern pentathlon have been moved from Belarus. In addition, the IOC has imposed indefinite sanctions against the NOC of Belarus.
