‘We Lost Sense Of Smell And Taste, Went On Quarantine’

The bosses no longer have any questions.

The most comfortable home strike in Belarus is confidently growing more and more powerful.

The Basta! Telegram channel posted a reader's letter:

- I stayed at home not from the first, but from the second of November, when I saw how many people from my structural unit actually stayed at home. To be honest, I didn’t want to do the job for the missing five people. I looked at the pitiful bonus and decided to stay at home.

I persuaded my wife, who works as an accountant, to take a sick leave and spend a family vacation. I was shocked how quickly she agreed, citing the fact that half of the accounting department was on sick leave with coronavirus.

On November 2, our phones were bursting with endless calls from the bosses. There was one answer to everyone: “We lost our sense of smell and taste, went into quarantine”. And that's it! All questions from the bosses disappear at one moment. They wished us to get well soon through gritted teeth. I almost answered in response: “After the change of power, we will definitely return.”

As of today, seven more of my colleagues have joined the strike. A wave-like home strike will cover the whole of Belarus and we will definitely win.
