The annual budget was spent in three quarters.

The government of Belarus will appeal to Aliaksandr Lukashenka on the issue of allocating additional funds to combat COVID-19. This was stated by Prime Minister Raman Halouchanka, BelTA informs.

The reason is the increased incidence. According to Halouchanka, almost 250 million rubles (about $ 100 million) are needed, including 140 million for the purchase of medicines and vaccines.

Halouchanka also said that in the fourth quarter, to pay “covid” bonuses to doctors they need another 250 million rubles, which they are looking for in the republican and local budgets.

“What we allocated for a year was actually eaten in three quarters,” the Prime Minister said.
