Six Countries Joined Third Package Of EU Sanctions Against Lukashenka's Regime

Six states - partners of the European Union have joined the EU sanctions against Lukashenka's regime.

As European Truth reports, it was stated in the statement of the EU high representative.

"Candidate countries North Macedonia, Montenegro and Albania, as well as states of the European Free Trade Zone - Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway - have joined the decision of the EU Council to impose sanctions against Belarus. They will ensure consistency of their national policies with this decision of the Council," - the document says.

The last package of sanctions, adopted by the EU on December 17, involves restrictive measures against 29 individuals and 7 entities.

The EU has introduced a total of three packages of sanctions against Lukashenka's regime, 84 representatives of the country's leadership were included in the list, including usurper Aliaksandr Lukashenka and representatives of security forces.

All of them are banned to enter the EU, and their accounts in European banks are to be frozen.
