Aliaksei Kudzin, Fighter Who Resisted Special Police Unit, Detained In Moscow

He may be extradited to Belarus.

The police has detained fighter Aliaksei Kudzin in Moscow. Now he faces extradition to Belarus and a trial. It was reported by the Belarusian Foundation for Sports Solidarity.

We remind that z was arrested during the protest near the town park in Maladzechna on August 10. He was released on August 21, after a criminal case was initiated against him and a preventive measure in the form of house arrest was chosen.

Aliaksei Kudzin is charged under Article 363 of the Criminal Code - "Resistance to an internal affairs officer or other person who protects public order. The maximum penalty here is up to five years of imprisonment.

Kudzin did not show up for the court session on November 19. His wife said that in the morning her husband told her that he was leaving for court. She did not see him again, he did not answer the phone.

After that, the judge changed the preventive measure from house arrest to detention, and Aliaksei Kudzin was officially declared wanted.
