Belarusian Enterprises Are Getting More and More Into Debt

A quarter of enterprises are stable bankrupts, and nothing will help them.

According to the National Statistical Committee, the number of unprofitable organizations in January-November 2020 increased from 938 to 1.154 (by 23%) compared to the same period of 2019, their share - from 13.9 to 17.1%, naviny.media reports.

As noted by Belsat, the organizations' net profit as of December 1 amounted to 5 billion 811.4 million rubles (44.8% less).

Profit before tax amounted to 8 billion 66.4 million (-37.9%). Loss from investment and financial activities amounted to 8 billion 120.1 million rubles against a loss of 212.4 million rubles in January-November 2019.

Profit from sales increased by 13.8% to RUB 17,961.9 million. The profitability of sales and products sold amounted to 7.8 and 9.7%, respectively (in January-November 2019 - 7.3 and 9%).

The proceeds from the sale of products, goods, works, services of the country's organizations in current prices amounted to 230 billion 492.5 million rubles (+ 6.2%). At the same time, the cost of goods sold, goods, works, services increased by 5.3% to 184 billion 341.9 million rubles.
