The Baltic governments have developed a common methodology for electricity trading.

Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia refused to use Belarusian electricity. This was reported by the Interfax news agency.

According to them, the governments of the Baltic countries have developed a common methodology for electricity trading. In accordance with it, the electricity supplied to Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia should not be produced in Belarus.

The imported electricity must have proof that it was not produced in Belarus, the energy company Litgrid said.

Earlier, the Baltic states included 30 Belarusian officials on the list of undesirable persons for entry, who are accused of involvement in the falsification of the results of the presidential elections in Belarus and the brutal suppression of protests. This list was later supplemented.
