BSU Professors And Employees Spoke Out Against Lies, Lawlessness And Falsification

Mathematicians - for the truth!

Teachers and staff of the Mechanics and Mathematics Department of the Belarusian State University have condemned violence, lies, lawlessness and election fraud. The video has been published on YouTube.

The appeal has been supported by 67 people.

Here are some statements made by teachers:

- Love for mathematics sharpens the sense of justice. We, like our students, cannot tolerate the pressure of lawlessness and lies that has hit us lately.

- We support their desire to be honest, to express their position, and to defend the right to call white white and red red.

- The law should work for everyone in the same way - it is an axiom.

- It is impossible to teach students to be honest when the state daily devalues this quality before their eyes.

- We teach that contradiction is a reason to search for a mistake, not a guilty one.

- We are tired of feeling like fools when every time we try to defend our rights and freedoms we hear: "Well, you do understand ...".

- We understand that the power has failed the honesty test.
