Criminal Charge Brought Against Nasha Niva Chief Editor

Ryhor Martsinovich will spend the next three days in an investigative isolator.

Nasha Niva chief editor Ryhor Martsinovich is now a suspect under Article 188 of the Criminal Code of Belarus ("Defamation").

He will spend the next three days in an investigative isolator.

This was reported to Nasha Niva by Adarja Hushtyn, Ryhor Martsinovich's wife.

In the morning, Ryhor Martsinovich's apartment was searched and he himself was detained.
