Otherwise, the headquarters does not rule out new protests.

Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya has stated that she considers herself the winner of the presidential election in Belarus, and her headquarters has demanded a peaceful transfer of power to the elected head of state, not excluding the possibility of new protests, RIA Novosti reports.

“The authorities do not hear us, they have completely cut themselves off from the people, but I must repeat that we are for peaceful changes. And the authorities should now think about how to transfer this power in a peaceful way, because at the moment they have only one way - violence against peaceful Belarusians,” Tsikhanouskaya has said.

The presidential candidate of Belarus also said that the current government is trying to maintain its position “by force”, although during the voting that ended the day before, “the voters made their choice.”

At the headquarters of Tsikhanouskaya, the results announced by Yarmoshina's CEC are not recognized, and exit polls held by the opposition at polling stations indicate that the majority of votes were cast for Tsikhanouskaya.

According to Tsikhanouskaya’s authorized representative, the data from the voting stations across Belarus also show that the opposition candidate won the election with the support of 70-80% of voters.

Interfax-Zapad reports that the headquarters of Tsikhanouskaya has its own data on the results of voting from 250 voting stations (there are almost 6 thousand of them in total). At the same time, Spokesperson for the headquarters Hanna Krasulina has told the agency that the results announced by the CEC “have nothing to do with the reality, and contradict common sense.”
