CEC Did Not Register Viktar Babaryka As Presidential Candidate

Upon Yarmoshyna's initiative, the CEC members voted "unanimously".

CEC head Lidziya Yarmoshyna proposed not to register Viktar Babaryka as a presidential candidate. The corresponding statement was made at today's CEC session.

According to Yarmoshyna, the income declaration provides no reason not to register him as a presidential candidate, "at the same time" the CEC received a letter from the State Control Committee.

The proposal was put to vote, the CEC members voted unanimously.

Viktar Babaryka submitted 367,179 signatures for his nomination to the commission; after the check-ups 165,744 signatures were declared valid.
