People Who Continue To Collect Signatures For Tsikhanouskaya And Babaryka Deserve Admiration
Andrei Sannikov

Our common dream will come true.

The leader of the European Belarus civil campaign Andrei Sannikov commented to the Charter97.org website on the progress of the presidential campaign in the country and made an appeal:

- Illegitimate Lukashenka clings to his post and his residences as hard as he can, continues to threaten and insult the citizens of our country.

Today, the future of Belarus without exaggeration depends on all of us, on how we fight back against the high-handed power.

The revolution of signatures has taken place and has convincingly shown that Lukashenka's rating is within the limits of a statistical error and is already falling below the notorious 3%.

Having seen the slippers all over the country, Lukashenka failed to cope with the nervous breakdown and gave the order to fight against the people with the help of provocations in order to keep the power.

The main attack was made against the teams of Siarhei Tsikhanouski and Viktar Babaryka, against them and against the activists.

Siarhei Tsikhanouski, who has shaken up the protest Belarus, has been impudently and illegally deprived of the right to run for presidency and thrown into prison and then into the disciplinary cell. They are putting his supporters in jail, putting pressure on his wife Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, members of her initiative group.

A vile campaign has been launched against Viktar Babaryka, his friends and colleagues have been taken as hostages.

In this situation, the two leaders of resistance to illegal power need our support, our solidarity with them, regardless of our political preferences.

Lukashenka, by his inadequate behavior, has only made the citizens of Belarus angry. Even greater activation of citizens has become the answer to him.

It is admirable how resolutely people continue to put their signatures under the slogan "Except For One".

Those people who continue to collect signatures for Tsikhanouskaya and Babaryka, countering their quiet work to the raging authorities, deserve admiration.

We have always been strong in our solidarity.

In 2010, our solidarity saved the lives of people thrown behind bars.

This year our solidarity saved lives during the pandemic, despite the vile actions of Lukashenka, who is trying to infect as many people as possible.

Now our solidarity is needed to defend ourselves and our country, to protect the leaders of the power change process.

It is already clear that cases are being fabricated against both Siarhei Tsikhanouski and Viktar Babaryka. And we can already say today that they are illegal.

Siarhei Tsikhanouski and Viktar Babaryka have done a lot for Belarus to become free. Let's support them, let's be united - and our common dream will come true.

Long Live Belarus!
