Instead Of Medical Ventilators Miory District Executive Committee Buys Off-Road Car For $24,000

A new car for local budget funds is to be delivered to the district executive committee by the end of May.

While the Belarusians around the world are collecting funds to help physicians, as well as to purchase protective equipment, medical ventilators, disinfectants, shields, masks, etc., the Miory district executive committee has its own need.

The Miory district executive committee announced a tender for the purchase of an all-wheel drive car, the People's News of Vitsebsk website reports.

Officials want to buy a five-passenger car with a 1.8-liter petrol engine and a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Judging by the technical specification and approximate price, they liked the Geely Atlas in the most luxurious package "Luxury (LED) 4G".

The price of this car on the manufacturer's website is 56,900 rubles. However, the tender specified a number of options, for example - light alloy 18-inch rims and the appropriate tires to them.

The new car is to be delivered to the district executive committee by the end of May. It is purchased for the funds of the local budget, the approximate purchase cost is 58,800 rubles.
