I used to think - what binds all of them together? How could I not see? St.Petersburg and culture are the things that “unite” them. Skaryna “lived and created” there, and Valentina was a governor. Apparently, she also created something there. Or maybe they met? I don’t know for sure. Let’s wait and see, maybe some of them will tell about it. Or maybe, “the one above the God” will make a statement, tell the truth, and we’ll believe it?

The other day, Mr. Lukashenka awarded Valentina Matvienko, the Chair of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia, who used to be a governor of St. Petersburg for 8 years, the Francysk Skaryna order.

For some contribution. Well, who are we to decide where to dish it out? They gave it to Valentina. Not to Vasil Bykau. Not to Svetlana Alexievich. They didn’t give it to many who could be worthy of it, deserved it in the reality. And they won’t give it to such people. At least, under this ruler.
