No One Will Watch Over Self-Insulation Of Those Who Came to Belarus From Abroad

The Ministry of Health hopes for consciousness.

The citizens, coming to Belarus from abroad, have to show conscientiousness and isolate themselves for 14 days. However, no one will monitor whether they comply with this recommendation, chief medical officer Natallia Zhukava said at a briefing on March 27, euroradio.fm reports.

According to her, a person, coming from abroad, should self-isolate at home. However, his family members may still go to work and to public places. At the same time, they should monitor their health and see doctors when symptoms of the disease occur.

We remind that next week will be a week off in Russia - Vladimir Putin has made a corresponding decision. Russians traditionally go to Belarus to have a rest during long holidays. Especially since the border between Belarus and Russia is not closed.

The day before it was decided in Belarus that all foreigners, coming from the countries, where the coronavirus is registered, should be subject to a 14-day quarantine. However, in reality, it will probably be impossible to implement this policy in respect to Russians.
