Problems With Petrol Break Out In Belarus

A number of petrol stations in the regions of Belarus impose restrictions on fuel sales.

A number of regional Lukoil petrol stations have introduced limits on the purchase of fuel. This was reported by tut.by users and confirmed at some petrol stations.

The Lukoil petrol station № 21 in Brest says there's been introduced a restriction on the purchase of diesel fuel up to 100 liters in one hands. The limit applies to all transport - both passenger and freight. "There are problems with the fuel, it's not enough for all filling stations," - the petrol station explains.

We received similar information at the Lukoil petrol station № 22 in Brest, as well as at the petrol station № 17 in Baranavichy.

The Lukoil petrol stations in Minsk, Babruisk, Hrodna, Salihorsk and Vitsebsk deny the information about the restrictions. "So far, no orders have been received. However, we do not know what will happen tomorrow," - they say there.

According to unconfirmed information, the Belarusian networks of petrol stations, owned by Russian oil companies, are denied supplies of oil products from the refineries in Mazyr and Navapolatsk. "No oil - no petrol," - interlocutors of tut.by said. Since January, Lukoil, Rosneft, Gazprom Neft and Tatneft have refused to supply oil to Belarus without premium.

Belnautakhim didn't confirm or deny the information about the restrictions on petroleum products supply.
