Another Slur Of Cockroach

Another Slur Of Cockroach

Representatives of the Collective Security Treaty Organization countries looked at the usurper as a seriously ill patient.

Political analyst Valeryj Karbalevich notes in his telegram-channel that the last CSTO summit was a new humiliation for Sasha the Cockroach.

"At all previous summits of the CSTO, Lukashenka was feeling confident, was coming up with various initiatives, looking condescendingly at other members of this organization, from time to time criticized them," - Valeryj Karbalevich recalls.

The CSTO summit on December 2 was quite humiliating for Lukashenka. Other leaders of member countries of this union were looking at the illegal representative of Belarus ruefully. This is how civilized people behave in a ward of a seriously ill man.

And this tacit compassion irritated Lukashenka greatly. He should have stayed silent. In this case, it would not be visible in what state he was in.

However, this is not in his style. He started making excuses: "It has become absolutely clear to us that it is a matter of creating a NATO military group to seize these [western Belarusian] lands... it's not a color revolution, it' s an ordinary rebellion".

Lukashenka did not say anything new. He had said before that "there can be no ground for revolution in Belarus, that the protests are organized by the West, that NATO is going to seize Belarus". But it was propaganda for internal use and the Russian audience.

"However, it was hardly worth offering such a primitive version to the leaders of post-Soviet states. They are experienced people. They feel a little offended when they are taken for simpletons to whom one can pour banana oil in the ear. This is exactly the case when there's no wisdom like silence," - the political scientist writes.
