It is written on the verses of Uladzimir Karatkevich.

On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of Uladzimir Karatkevich's birth, the leader of the band Dzieciuki, Ales Dzianisau, together with the creative movement Asoby, recorded a song to the writer's verses. The song and video are dedicated to the rebels of 1863-1864, hrodna.life reports.

"This creativity is the result of a fantastic accident. These are the events of recent months, the consolidation of the Hrodna creative community, and the mental consolidation of the creative team in the interest in the genius of Belarusian literature Uladzimir Karatkevich's works. We were lucky to combine words, music, and images on the eve of the poet's anniversary - 90 years from the date of his birth," wrote the director of the video, Vasil Kalach, on his social media page.

Uladzimir Karatkevich is one of the most popular Belarusian writers of the 20th century. He is the author of such works as "Ears under your sickle," "Christ has landed in Hrodna," "Black Alshanski Castle," "The Wild Hunt of King Stakh," and others.
