There was a full house at the Minsk Arena.

Not a single empty seat at the Minsk Arena. This is how the Ukrainian group Okean Elzy was met in Belarus on September 20. During the concert, band leader Svyatoslav Vakarchuk reminded about 35 Ukrainian prisoners recently released from Russian prisons. The Minsk Arena welcomed these words with applause, Radio Svaboda reports.

- Recently, a very important event happened in our country - political prisoners returned to Ukraine. We want to dedicate this song to them. And thank you for your support, Belarus! It is a pleasure for us! - The musician said.

Svyatoslav Vakarchuk sincerely rejoiced with happiness and the fans answered him with reciprocity. The soulfulness with which the band O.E. performs is very sincere: the incessant energy of the frontman envelops with the warmth everyone in the hall - this is a real cocktail of talent, passion, drive and romance, kp.by writes.

The leader of the group also dedicated a touching song "Mit" to Ukrainians who are at war in Donbass. The artist's eyes glistened with tears - girls were crying in the hall.

The musicians performed encores several times. And let their listeners go home only closer to midnight. This evening, fans of Okean Elzy from Minsk, Baranavichy, Hrodna, Vitsebsk, Moscow, St. Petersburg and Ryazan were travelling together in a Minsk bus № 1.

Vakarchuk had to miss a session of the Verkhovna Rada to give a concert in Minsk.

"The Constitution of Ukraine allows people's deputies to be engaged in creative activity, and God forbids me not to be engaged in creative activity," - the musician said.

According to Vakarchuk, his performance at this concert is not paid for.

"I do not receive any fees and those prohibited by law payments that cannot be received by an MP," - the musician said.

Svyatoslav Vakarchuk also notes that the concert in Minsk was agreed before he went into politics and the elections.

The Golos party, established by Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, received 20 mandates in the early parliamentary elections in Ukraine.
