The notorious "500 to everyone" was never seen in Belarus.

At the weekend, the leader of the Belarusian National Congress Mikalai Statkevich held five open meetings with citizens in the West of Belarus. The Narodnaya Hramada website publishes a letter from one of the Lida residents.

"Our "beloved president" promised Br1,000 to get in hand... I have never seen them. The bosses - yes, they get such salaries. What for? Lida Meat Processing Plant, LidaStroiKanstruktsyja have been ruined, another construction organization, in Furmanov Street, has been liquidated as well... Whither are we drifting?!

But the ice palaces are being built... And where to get the money to go there? There is Soviet-era equipment at the plants... What can be the sale of products, if these products are produced with Soviet-era machinery?

Now the second thing. I am an agronomist by education. I worked 2 years after college... I wasn't really working, you might say, but suffering torments! What's the point for young people to go to the village? An agronomist gets a petty salary there, and they will also do his head in, because the same is done to his superiors...

What's the point for young people to stay in the village if there are no salaries, no days off? I was the head of the workshop myself. In summer, all the people bathe, fry kebabs and rest. And you are tied to these workshops. And the most interesting thing is that I used to work at weekends, but they wrote down the days off. That is, I was working for "thank you". And if you don't appear at work, you may lose the house. But in Germany, as I was told, the farmer works for six days. Only until lunch on Saturday. And he goes to the bar to drink beer. Correspondingly, he makes a day off on Sunday. And the yield is better than ours, and there are no losses...

There is no justice!

My opinion is that the salary in the village should be twice as high as in Minsk for the young people to go to the village. Then people would go there.

Lukashenka leads a wrong policy. It is good that he is friends with Russia. We were, are and will be dependent on it. But I do not understand one thing: why do we have to be at odds with Europe? If to invest money in our factories, to buy new machines, to produce better products (I'm talking about all sectors), to sell these products to European countries, and also to Russia, we would be golden! We would not go to our neighbors to earn money, but they would come to us...

And Lukashenka has established such stupid laws! "Parasites", retirement age (people will be dying by the machines)... It feels like he has a senile marasmus. He just doesn't let people earn money. That's what a lot of people say in our town.

It's like in the joke: I'm strangling and strangling my people, but they're die-hard, bastards..." - a resident of Lida wrote.
