The father of the boy, a pupil of the 4th grade of a Homel school who became a participant in the conflict with the teacher, told tut.by that he and his child had been summoned to the police.

- We are now on our way to the inspector for juvenile affairs to talk to him. The police department called and invited us. They will probably ask for explanations.

At two o'clock the child was supposed to be at the lessons, but it seems that today he will miss the lessons.

Roman briefly commented on the resonance around the school scandal:

- The only thing is that I feel sorry for the headmaster. A fool for powder. It is not clear who she was made responsible for.

The official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Volha Chamadanava reported to tut.by that the incident at school № 15, which had been covered by the media, was investigated within the framework of the administrative legislation.

- Now all parties to the conflict and those present are being questioned - the teacher and a number of children (with the participation of their legal representatives).

Today, on September 19, the president commented on the situation in the Homel school:

- I would have bust the whiffet's head open if I were that teacher... Are you waiting for something similar to what happened in Staubtsy, - Lukashenka said. - And it starts from here - with mockery of the teacher. And they capture it on camera and post it on the net. And this is in the fourth grade...

What's going on?

On September 12, during the lessons, when substituting another teacher, she swore at a fourth-grade pupil, holding a desk above him, his classmates recorded what was happening on video, and posted on the regional portal "Hard-Hitting News". This event, which was extraordinary for a particular school and the entire system of Belarusian education, led to a series of unpleasant events: the school was visited by a high-level commission from the regional executive committee, the parents of the fourth-graders had an emergency meeting and the teacher was fired. On September 18th, the teacher was reinstated at work by "the order of the president", but ... the headmistress of the school was fired.

The Prime Minister, the head of the Lukashenka administration and the vice-premier supervising the department were strictly warned about the failure to take measures to restore order in schools and to fulfill the president's instructions.

The Minister of Education was warned about the incomplete compliance, while a number of officials of Homel regional and city executive committee received reprimands. Also, some officials of Homel City Executive Committee, district administration and the director of the school were dismissed from their positions with a transfer to another job.
