Accident At Belgee Plant Near Barysau

The work at the plant hasn't been yet resumed.

An accident happened at a large automobile plant BelGee near Barysau. Yesterday, an industrial pipeline with gasoline broke here, NEXTA channel reports. There is at least one victim.

- This happened on the production line, where ready-made cars refuel," - several sources at the company said. - The pipe, through which this is done, passes under the floor of the facility. It broke. The management immediately ordered all the workers to go home. But some of them were sent to fix the accident. As a result, one of them breathed gasoline vapor and was taken away in an ambulance with acute poisoning. Rescuers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations also came to the plant.

According to the Telegram-channel, the work at BelGee hasn't been yet resumed after the breakage.

BelGee is a Belarusian-Chinese joint venture for the assembly of Chinese Geely cars.
