Ales Yauseyanka: Problems Of Belarusian Army Became Chronic
ALES YAUSEYANKA

The crisis in the army has become obvious.

Representative of the Belarusian National Congress in Homel region Ales Yauseyanka believes that the new law "On Determents" will not solve the main problems of the Belarusian army. According to the public figure, the state should review the conceptual approaches to the functioning of the army, Radio Racyja reports.

- In any decent country, this is a decision to raise the prestige of service in the army. The crisis became obvious after they started conscripting those, if someone does not know, who had served time in prison. And the "hazing" began, and all that mess appeared - prison relations. It is necessary to return at least the benefits to people who have served in the army, to give them certain privileges when they enter higher education institutions, when they are hired, when they are readmitted somewhere in the educational institutions.
