Video Fact: Tank Almost Hit Pedestrians On Sidewalk In Minsk After Parade

In Minsk, a tank almost ran to the sidewalk, where people were at that moment.

Apparently, the incident occurred after the Independence Day parade, when the mechanized column was returning to the base. Opposite the Dom Druku on Surhanava Street, the driver failed to control the vehicle, as a result of which the T-72 tank skidded in and almost run onto the sidewalk.

Fortunately, the driver managed to stop the tank on the roadway. No-one was injured as a result of the incident.

As we have reported, similar incidents occurred in 2017. Then a tank that was going to the center for the dress rehearsal of the parade, crashed into a tree and demolished a lamp pole near the Maskouskaya metro station.
