Defender Of "Parasites": We Have To Defend Our Right To Mass Events

Maryja Tarasenka has informed about the dramatic struggle and absurdity of the authorities.

The Homel Regional Court will consider the first appeal of Maryja Tarasenka against the decision of the Dobrush district court to ban the march against the renewed decree "on parasites," Radio Racyja informs.

The applicant, an activist of the independent trade union of electronic industry workers (REP) Maryja Tarasenka, says she strives to use all legal mechanisms to fight against the anti-constitutional decree.

"This is a very interesting and serious problem. It is not even as serious as it is dramatic, and in many ways it is absurd. And we have to prove it in such a form in court our inalienable right to hold mass events," - Maryja Tarasenka states.

The open court hearing on Maryja Tarasenka's case will start in Homel regional court at 11.30 am on July 18th.
