The detention and deportation were carried out by the SSU.

Ex-political prisoner Aliaksandr Frantskevich was detained in Kiev by the Security Service of Ukraine in the evening on June 18 and deported to Belarus at night. Journalist Yauhenia Dalhaya wrote about it on Facebook.

"Yesterday evening, former political prisoner Aliaksandr Frantskevich was detained in Kiev, presumably by the Security Service of Ukraine, and was deported to the territory of Belarus at 3 a.m. today," - she reported.

Frantskevich is an activist of the anarchist movement. In 2011, he was sentenced to three years in prison on charges of malicious hooliganism, deliberate damage to property and unauthorized access to computer information. Earlier, he and four of his associates were detained on suspicion of arson of the Russian Embassy and the Center for the isolation of offenders in Akrestsin street. Human rights organizations recognized Franctskevich as a political prisoner, euroradio.fm reminds.

The guy was released in September 2013 and left for Kiev in 2015. There he received a residence permit and worked as a programmer, kept in touch with anarchists. In 2018, Franctskevich told Belarusian journalists that he had been under pressure from the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).
