Finished products worth 5 billion rubles accumulated in enterprise warehouses

The situation is worst in Minsk.

The total amount of Belarusian enterprises' stock is Br5 billion 27 million as of May 1, the National Statistical Committee informs. This is more than it was last year.

Last year's warehouse stocks amounted to 63.7% of the enterprises' average monthly production volume. Now it is 65.2%.

The situation is worst in Minsk. The warehouses of Minsk enterprises store almost a month's volume of production – 95%. A year ago, that figure was 85.3%. A month ago - 91.2% Minsk is followed by Minsk region (78% of the average monthly production is left in wareghouses) and Brest region (77.6%).

The situation is best in the Homel region, where the level of stocks slightly exceeded 40% in May. But even in this region there is a growth of stocks – a year ago they were only 27.7% of the total production.
