Pavel Seviarynets: Belarusians Struggled For Thousands Of Years To Live Freely On Their Land

We can't silently watch the swindlers losing our sovereignty when playing with marked cards.

On December 7 and 8, mass rallies for the independence of Belarus were held in Minsk.

On the eve of the rallies, one of the leaders of the Belarusian Christian Democracy, Pavel Seviarynets, stated to reporters:

"The Belarusians cannot stay silent when such negotiations are held.

Thousands of years the Belarusians have been fighting to live freely on their land, tens of thousands of people have given their lives for this.

We must not silently watch some crooks gathering, silently laying out some marked "road" cards, and then lose Belarus at these cards.

We will not stand by and let them lose our homeland at cards," - he said.
