Belarusian Telegram Community: Deepening Integration With Russia Hurts National Interests

Belarusian bloggers have made a statement.

The largest Belarusian Telegram-channels issued a statement against the so-called integration of Belarus and Russia. The statement was published in the Belarusian Telegram channel and republished by the largest channels.

Here is the text of the statement:

Responding to rumors of the "strengthening of integration" and the signing of "action plans" with Russia, the Telegram community of Belarus declares:

- Independence of Belarus is not a trade-off;

- The signing of any documents, coming at the expense of the sovereignty and independence of our country, is unacceptable;

- The deepening of integration with Russia harms the national interests of our country.
