The blogger was a candidate for deputy of the European Belarus civil campaign.

Youtube blogger from Vorsha and activist of the European Belarus civil campaign Dzmitry Kazlou, known as the Grey Cat, has been convicted today, on December 2, for taking part in a mass event under Part 1 of Article 23.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences. It is known that the protocol against Kazlou was drawn up for the meeting of free people, held in Freedom Square in Minsk on November 16, spring96.org reports.

The blogger was summoned to Liliya Trushko, the senior police officer of the Vorsha District Police Department, as a "participant in administrative proceedings" on November 30. Later it became known that he was taken from the police station to the temporary detention center pending trial.

This morning Dzmitry Kazlou was taken to the Vorsha District Police Department and informed that the trial would take place there, not in court. Several more people were brought there from the TDF, but from 12:45 p.m. Judge Katsiaryna Mazheika announced a break for an indefinite period of time. Later it became known that the hearing would eventually take place in the Vorsha District Court.

Although the beginning of the trial was announced at 15.00, Kazlou was brought to court only at 17.00. The judge banned the use of video registration. It turns out that Dzmitry Kazlou is being sued for reposting in social networks an appeal to participate in an "unauthorized mass event" on Freedom Square on November 8.

The result is a fine of 20 basic units (510 rubles). The judge made a decision without a preliminary meeting.

On Friday, December 6, the Maskouski district court of Minsk will consider another administrative case against him - for taking part in the meeting of free people on November 16.
