Hrodna Residents Lined Up In Human Chain To Support Belarus' Independence

A lot of young people and families with children came to the rally.

A rally to support Belarus' independence was held on the old bridge in Hrodna.

About a hundred people gathered together. They formed a chain along the bridge. They were chanting "Long Live Belarus" and "Independence," Radio Svaboda reports.

"There were people with children and young people among the participants. People in civilian clothes were capturing on video all the events.

The cars, which were driving across the bridge, actively supported the chain of independence.

The event lasted about an hour. About a hundred people took part in it. There were no arrests or provocations, either.
