Workers At Hrodna Azot Subsidiary Rebel

140 people have demanded an increase in financial bonuses.

Employees of the Hrodna company AzotSpetsTrans - a subsidiary of Hrodna Azot - wrote an open letter to the CEO of the parent company. The people complain about the small bonuses compared to other branches over the past year. The workers also ask the general director to return AzotSpetsTrans to the structural unit of a large plant. An appeal to the head of Hrodna Azot Ihar Bobyr was signed by 140 people, reports tut.by.

AzotSpetsTrans was established in December 2013 on the basis of the road transport workshop, railway workshop, passenger car maintenance and repair station, and the beautification section of Hrodna Azot OJSC, as well as the transport workshop of the Hrodna Khimvolokno JSC, and has become a separate production unit. The company now has 500 employees of various professions and rolling stock of 210 vehicles.

AzotSpetsTrans is engaged in transport services. The company has its own service station, as well as a repair and maintenance site for vehicles, a fuel equipment repair department, an electrical equipment repair department, a welding department, tire fitting, a mechanical-turning department, and a universal car wash.

- For the six years of existence of our enterprise, we have suffered material and moral humiliation. We want to understand the situation that has developed when receiving a bonus based on the results of work for 2018, employees say. - All employees of Azot and other unitary enterprises received full payments. The bonuses there were from 200 to 1200 rubles. Here, the workers received from 50 to 200 rubles. Why it happened, the management of our company refuses to explain to us. Therefore, we collected signatures and sent an appeal to the General Director of Hrodna Azot OJSC, so that he would solve the current situation.

Also, the workers ask to return their transport company to the structure of Hrodna Azot, as it was before.

The management of AzotSpetsTrans explains that the payment of bonuses to all employees depends on the profit that the company received during the reporting period. If the profitability is small, then there can be no bonuses at all.

“The financial ability of the enterprise to pay bonuses is limited to a certain amount - 166 thousand rubles,” they say at AzotSpetsTrans. - At the same time, the average monthly wage for 9 months of this year here is almost 1305 rubles.

A general meeting of employees was held at AzotSpetsTrans, but the situation has not changed yet: people demand a meeting with the head management.

The appeal to the General Director of Hrodna Azot OJSC is currently under consideration by the enterprise management.
