Leanid Zaika: Poverty Extirpation Plan Should Be Burnt Publicly
Leanid Zaika

According to the economist, "our favorite poet Gutseriev" should do it.

Leanid Zaika, head of the Strategy Analytical Center, spoke about the government's plan for developing lagging regions. The document, the implementation of which, according to the authorities, should eliminate poverty in the regions, spells out 282 projects with a total investment of more than 10 billion rubles. The lion's share of these projects (7.7 billion rubles) falls on the potash industry - facilities in Petrykau and Luban districts, Salidarnast writes.

- We need to subject this document to public burning. And it should be implemented by our favorite poet Gutseriev, - Leanid Zaika said in the Primus program.

As an option, the economist proposed to give this document for review to Leanid Anfimau, head of the SCC.

- Maybe we should take some guys with handcuffs and the Financial Investigation Department, and make them walk along the corridors in the government on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. till lunch, twist the handcuffs on their fingers and ask, "Guys, are you all right? Tell us, who proposed Gutseriev for such money?"
