Judge In Dzmitry Paliyenka's Case "Recovered"

A new date for the beginning of the trial has been set.

Viasna human rights activists have learned that the trial of social activist Dzmitry Paliyenka will begin in Minsk city court on Thursday, October 17. It starts at 10:30.

This is confirmed by the schedule of court hearings, as well as the official website of the Supreme Court of Belarus. It is reported that the hearing will be closed to the public.

We remind that Dzmitry Paliyenka's trial was supposed to begin on September 25. But just before it started, it was postponed due to the illness of Judge P. Arlou.
