Lukashenka: We Already Lost $ 3.6 Billion From Tax Maneuver

The dictator said that Belarus will continue to suffer losses from the Russian maneuver.

Lukashenka instructed the government to compensate for losses of the republican budget because of the tax maneuver in the oil sector in Russia in any areas of cooperation with this country, BelTA writes.

He noted that this issue should have been resolved before January 1, but the fact that it has not been resolved yet is not a catastrophe. “Losses from the tax maneuver in Belarus this year will amount to a ridiculous sum: at $ 70 per barrel, it will be about $ 400 million. This is not a disaster. But we cannot go for it, because since 2015, when this tax maneuver was introduced, we have already lost $ 3.6 billion. By the end of this tax maneuver, by 2025, we will have lost $ 10.6 billion,” – Lukashenko said.
