The Belarus History telegram-channel published congratulations on the Militia Day from the ex-Minister of the Interior of Belarus, Yury Zakharanka, who went missing on May 7, 1999.

Yury Zakharanka, one of the few politicians and officers who fought for justice, was looking for ways to reform the law enforcement agencies and criticized Aliaksandr Lukashenka. He could have changed a lot, but his life was cut short at the peak of his powers.
