Belarusians Open Unique Restaurant Eutymia In Warsaw

The new restaurant promises to be one of the best in the capital of Poland.

The new Belarusian restaurant is called Eutymia, which in Greek means "good mood" and "joy", and is located in the elite district of Warsaw Wilanów, Zawady, at 93 Syta Street.

Charter97.org spoke with the owners of the restaurant, who moved to Poland from Belarus a few years ago.

– Why did you decide to open a restaurant in Warsaw? How does it differ from other numerous restaurants in the city?

– This isn't the first restaurant we've opened. Before that, we had a successful and popular restaurant in Belarus, which, for security reasons, we will not openly discuss now. But it was a really successful business with a successful concept that was very popular with our guests.

We believe it was one of the best restaurants in Belarus. Unfortunately, the pressure on business in our home country forced us to move to neighboring Poland. We want to present in our restaurant Eutymia today, the cuisine that our guests liked so much in the Belarusian restaurant.

– What is unique about your kitchen?

– Each of our dishes is brought to perfection. We have a very talented chef and he brought part of the recipe with him from Belarus. The best dishes were included in our first menu. This includes filet mignon with foie gras, a mutton chop with Greek yoghurt sauce with asparagus, lamb shin with lentils, cacciucco seafood soup, gorgeous beef tartare, chicken liver paté with hazelnuts and cherry sauce.

In addition, we will make Neapolitan pizza in a wood-burning Pompeii oven. We say that there is no such pizza anywhere in Warsaw. It will be a pizza with red and black caviar and stracciatella; spicy tuna and truffle; crab, gorgonzola and figs; foie gras and artichokes; lobster, beef and porchetta. Our chef came up with these ambitious combinations of products to pleasantly surprise Warsaw gourmets.

We also have wonderful breakfasts, which are very rare in Warsaw. The dishes are simple, but amazingly tasty: everyone's favorite cheesecakes and wonderful green buckwheat with poached egg and chorizo.

– Is it possible to surprise Warsaw gourmets with something?

– Unfortunately, the quality of Warsaw cuisine leaves much to be desired. There are not so many good restaurants with really tasty and high-quality food. We believe that we may soon become one of the best restaurants in the capital.

We also created a unique atmosphere in the restaurant. At the entrance to Eutymia, guests are immersed in an atmosphere where the harmony of natural elements is combined with the sophistication of modern style. A lot of air, greenery, natural materials, pastel shades and refined details create a space where each element of the decor complements the overall elegance. Our restaurant is really nice, cozy and free. You can relax and escape from the city.

– Why did you choose this location? Isn't that far enough from the center?

– The Wilanów district is very large, new, modern and trendy. By the way, many Belarusians live here, mainly from the IT business, and many of them have already become our regular guests.

It is worth noting that we also have a magnificent banquet hall for 80 people, where you can hold corporate events, weddings, anniversaries and other celebrations.

We care very much about the quality of service at Eutymia. Our staff is trained at a high level to create an atmosphere of unobtrusiveness and care. We strive to make guests feel that we anticipate their needs and are ready to please even the most demanding guests.

– Do you provide jobs to Belarusians?

– Almost 100% of the staff are Belarusians in our kitchen. All our chefs are from Belarus. The waiters are Poles and Ukrainians, but we will also attract compatriots to this position.

– Isn't it scary to do business in a new country?

– Doing business in Belarus is even scarier. There are only business risks in Poland and we are not afraid of this. Here they won't take away your business and throw you in jail on falsified charges, as it happens all the time, unfortunately, in our homeland. We are positive and confident of success because we do our job well for people.
